The Edinburgh-Stanford Link, in partnership with the Edinburgh Entrepreneurship Club and Graduates for Growth, will co-host a forum on women entrepreneurship in Scotland. The purpose of this event will be to effect policy and influence the wider business community in order to contribute to women entrepreneurship in the Country. Specifically the forum seeks to address the triad of new starts, growth, and investment. Following a panel discussion and Q and A session, researchers will capture and highlight the discourse in order to produce a white paper. This document will be disseminated to the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, universities and business groups. A second meeting in February of 2009 will be used to set an action plan and timetable for change.
